Background Information:
After the death of his son, Carlyle Firestone V, in a hostile takeover attempt by Gen-Lec, Carlyle Firestone IV decided that something must be done to save a society out of control.  Through a set of dummy corporations he takes an idea from an old TV series and creates "The Foundation for Law and Government".  FLAG, as it will become known, is to use its resources to combat the rich and powerful, those who feel they are above the law.  To this end, Project Road Warrior Zeta is established.  Headed up by Professor Hikanawa Tomoe, the project's purpose is to field a team using cutting edge technology to capture or defeat those who would ignore the law.  To this end, three special vehicles are created, and paired with human operatives.  This team takes to the streets using the abilities of their vehicles to stop crime that the police can't, for lack of evidence, firepower, or skill.

Life History:
Although the second son, Carlyle was the son chosen to carry the family name and follow in the family footsteps.  His grandfather, Carlyle Firestone IV is the Chairman and CEO of Firestone Consolidated Inc., a smaller Megacorp.  His father was murdered during a very hostile takeover attempt by Gen-Lec when Carlyle was 10.  The effect of this was to cause an already dissatisfied "Kyle", as he prefers to be called, to rebel against his heritage.  He ultimately succeeded, at least for a while, at age 14 when he managed to elude all of the family security and run away, living on the streets of Hollywood for almost 2 years before being caught.  This act of rebellion earned him the hero worship of his younger siblings, who also feel smothered by their world of the ultra-rich.  However, his older sister, who had already accepted the facts of her birth dislikes him for turning his back on his filial responsibilities.  His older brother now actively hates Carlyle for what he did; though he never liked Carlyle to begin with because of the fact that the older brother was not the one chosen to carry on the family heritage.

Kyle was very lucky during his time on the streets.  Like all runaways, he spent time cold, hungry, and in trouble, but unlike many, Kyle was protected by two guardian angels.  Honey and Shuga were two girls who ran away to Hollywood and like most, had been forced into a life of prostitution.  Something in Kyle sparked their maternal instincts, and the pair took him under their wing.  With their advice and guidance he survived on the streets and avoided many of the pitfalls that claim young runaways in major cities.  His run of luck ended 3 months ago, when he tried to break into a house for some quick cash and was caught and arrested.  Hikanawa Tomoe, a Japanese inventor, owned the house.  Fortunately, (or not, depending on your point of view), Dr. Tomoe is the head of a top-secret project for Firestone Consolidated.  When they investigated deeper, they recognized Kyle, and informed his family.  Although the family desired to keep things quiet about the incident, Kyle's grandfather was not above exerting some influence with the judge.  As a result, Kyle was convicted, but sentenced to probation and placed in the custody of Dr. Tomoe until his 18th birthday.

Life History:
A very brilliant child, Frostina (not her real name, but no one knows what THAT is but her parents) was rather the apple of her parent's eyes.  This fact has done nothing to endear herself to her younger brother, who hates her because of the constant comparison to her.  During this time, she became friends with a lesbian couple, who became like big sisters to her, much to her parents' dismay and concern.  Both parents were rather conservative, and Frostina found herself talking about important issues with Kat and Cat, rather than her parents.  She, her next door neighbor, David Rose, and her school chum Hanna Delaney were known as the 'Brat Pack' while in school, and had a reputation for pulling outlandish stunts at school functions.  She had a minor crush on her art teacher in school, Edward Jacobson, who fostered her love of art.

After leaving school, she first entered into the world of art, but found that she could make more money forging other people's works than she could earn for her own.  However, she was caught at it by an art critic named Derrick Rathburn, who threatened her with exposure as a fraud unless she left the art field.  Not knowing what to do, for a time she drifted into a life of crime, specializing in burglaries.  During this period, she became friends with another thief, Sylia Lingstrom, better known as the Black Cat.  They met when they were both trying to rob the same person's house, and while they never worked the same jobs again, Sylia gave her hints and occasionally suggestions for targets that weren't Sylia's style.  In the end though, it was Sylia who urged Frostina to get out of the crime business before she was caught.  Sylia even arranged for her to meet a friend of hers, a Professor Hikanawa Tomoe, a meeting which lead to a job offer to Frostina as a research assistant.  For the last two years, she has worked with Professor Tomoe, and together they made an amazing breakthrough.  They discovered not only the missing secrets to cold fusion, but also how to create small, safe power-cells using the technique.  Now, the Professor is bringing her into an even more secret project, one code-named RW-Zeta.

Emiko Rei Hikado, former pilot with the Japanese armed forces, she came with Dr. Tomoe as test pilot for the new machines and team leader.

Life History:
Emiko spent her entire childhood knowing she was different.  Unlike many other parents, hers were very shy and secretive.  And with good reason, for they are deep cover spies for the People's Republic of China, one of the last holdouts of Communistic beliefs on the planet.  Emiko discovered the secret for herself when she was 10, and has spent the last 20 years of her life hoping that they do not get caught and ruin her career.  In many ways she has spent her life since then trying to distance herself from her family.  She became very close with a Usagi Tusinko, eventually becoming like an older sister to her, and the Tusinko's her foster family.  This move distanced herself from one of her younger sisters, who felt like she shamed the family.  Her twin brother all but worships the ground she walks on, for she has lead the sort of life he dreamed of, but was too afraid to try.  She is still close to her youngest sister, which leaves her younger brother spending most of his time trying to keep from being drug into arguments on one side or the other

Attended the Mugen Gaken Academy for advanced studies.  Graduated age 16 and entered the workforce as a member of emergency services.  At age 18, she was blackballed from the field when she insisted that what was causing the infamous Juuban syndrome was actually some sort of demons, something she HAD seen with her own eyes.  To this day, this reputation remains in the ERT community.  Served two years in the JSDF as a combat pilot during which time she saved the life of the base commander son, who now owes her for it.  After her commitment was complete, she became a mercenary in Indonesia for two years, During which time she had a brief love affair with a fellow mercenary, only to loose out to a romantic rival.  After that, she lost interest in the mercenary life, and spent the next two years as a professional Pilot, flying cargo all over the world.  She retains contact with one of her comrades to this day.  However, in some ways she was still lured to the rush of adrenaline, eventually returning to the JSDF in time to be a member of the first Veritech Squadron, the first transformable battle machines.  Though high in cost, these machines represent a major breakthrough, as they can attack both from the air, and take territory on the ground like a foot solder.  She spent four years in the Veritech program, but not all was happy.  Soon after being assigned to the squadron, she was involved in a multi-plane mid-air collision.  Her wingman was killed, and everyone blamed her for the entire incident, even after a board of inquiry returned a verdict of "Unidentifiable Cause."  Later in her Mecha career she had another short-term love affair, but this one ended badly.  Her ex-lover felt abandoned by her decision that how she was treating him wasn't right, because the squadron took up so much of her time, she should let him go.  As a result, He hates her, and if they happened to encounter her again, he would do his best to ignore her very existence.  Finally, two years ago, she left the JSDF to work with a former mentor, Dr. Hikanawa Tomoe on a top-secret project as the lead test pilot.  This program developed most of the equipment for the RW-Zeta program. .  During this time she made a contact with a fellow Test Pilot.  She now is team leader for the RW-Zeta team...

Supporting Characters:
Dr. Hikanawa Tomoe, Distinguished scientist who unlocked the secrets of transforming war-machines.  Now in over-all charge of Road Warrior Zeta.

Janice Rand: The young technician who puts the Zeta vehicles back together after the team tears them apart.  Slightly cynical, especially when it comes to promises about keeping equipment in good repair.  Is part of a running gag that involves her chasing Fred with a wrench after Fred pulls some particularly dumb stunt!

Fred Davies: Computer and Electronics specialist, creator and maintainer of the various computer systems used in the Zeta project.  Always wears loud Hawaiian print shirts.  Gets chased on screen by Janice at least once an episode because of some spectacular gaffe.  Known gaffes to use: Roadstriker with six arms, Soda machine Transformable, exceptionally bad puns.  Good source material can be found in the Jeff/Elle sidebars in Roadstriker 2.

Mother: The base's central AI.  Controls all functions of the base and information retrieval.

The vehicles:
A car and two cycles that can transform to form power armor to protect the heroes.  Each is equipped with an advanced Artificial Intelligence that assists in their investigations.

Thunderbird:  AI: Xena.  Outwardly appearing like a Ford Thunderbird, this is the heavy combat unit of the trio, carrying the heaviest armor and the most weapons.  Its AI mimics the star of the TV show Xena, Warrior Princess. Assigned Operator: Emiko

Shadow:  AI: Spock.  Outwardly appearing like a heavy Harley Davidson Motorcycle, this unit is the eyes and ears of the Zeta team, carrying the latest in electronic warfare technology and an amazing sensor suite.  Its AI mimics the character Spock from the first Star Trek Series. Assigned operator: "Frostina"

Rattler:  AI: Gunny.  Lightest and most mobile of the three Zeta vehicles, the Rattler is designed to provide combat support for the other two units rather than being a front-line fighter.  Its AI mimics most of the personality of Gunnery Sergeant Highway from Heartbreak Ridge. Assigned pilot: "Kyle"

Game Stats: Total Cp: 936.7 Avg: 312.2 Avg. Enemy: 104cp

Enemies:
Harrison Desmond, Chairman and CEO of Gen-Lec, the largest Mega-corp. on the planet.  Dissatisfied with being just ONE of the most important people on the Planet, he wants to be THE most important and powerful person on the planet...  as in RULER.  While brilliant, his growing Megalomania blinds him sometimes, causing him to make stupid mistakes.

Cecilia Fellows, Fem. Fatale, Head of public relations for Gen-Lec, Desmond's right hand woman.

Jacob Helriech, brilliant but twisted head of research and development for Gen-Lec, the one who builds the machines to carry out Desmond's evil plans.

Gen-Lec doesn't just engage in legal activities, but illegal ones as well.  Some of these include: using street derelicts as lab rats, creating and selling designer drugs, and marketing military grade weapons and armor on the black market.  If it's illegal, Gen-Lec has a finger in it somehow....

Guest Stars:
"Axe" Mann: Deep cover agent for Gen-Lec.  Minor Villain
All Stats at 6, All Mecha skills at 3.  Impersonate, Indimidate, Interrogate:6

Teaser:  Sentencing of "Kyle" Firestone.

Scene 1: Briefing
Frostina misses bus, arrives late.
Emiko, Janice and Fred wind up late to meeting because of fighting between Janice and Fred.  Emiko is NOT happy about this.
Dr. Tomoe arrives with Kyle in tow.  Introduces everyone, and informs Kyle and Frostina as to their new roles in RW-Z.  Introduces them to the Zeta Vehicles.  Shows them the rest of the command complex.  Briefing from C.F. IV about trouble brewing in South Central.

Scene 2: Nothing but a gang-bang baby.
Team decides to investigate the smallest of the 5 gangs, the Inglewood Bloods.  Traditional Hang out for them is the food court at the Hawthorne Mall.
Scene Goal: Gather information about gang status, etc.
Possible ways: Just listening won't reveal too much.  Get someone into gang, seduce or interrogate one of the gang members.
Twists:  The banger in charge will take a dislike to Kyle, and start a fight.  With use of proper negotiation, willing the fight will make Kyle a member of the gang. Said banger will come on hard to Emiko and Frostina, may even attempt to rape them giving a chance at capturing one of the bangers for interrogation

What the Gang knows: The IB's have been having a very bad time of it lately.  Between a couple of nasty fights and a police raid, they are very weak.  77th crips made them an offer they couldn't refuse...  by giving the 77th a share of the take and some of their better fighters, 77th won't grind them into the ground, and will make it possible for the IB's to be the top dog in their neighborhood.  These lucky people will help pull off whatever it is 77th is planning.  77th has changed leaders recently, new leader is "Scar".  No one knows what happened to person Scar replaced.

Extras:  11 thugs, Razor Jones.
Basic stats: 5, Imp. Skills:  Blade 1, handgun 2, streetwise 2, Intimidate 2 Avoid pursuit 2
'Razor' Jones: Blade 3, rest as normal.

Scene 3: South Central Blues
The team should decide that 77th is the group they should be investigating
Scene Goal: Find a couple of 77th members and follow them to secret hideout in order to infiltrate it.
Twists:  IF Kyle is in gang, he needs to find a way to get 'advanced' to the group that works with 77th.

Key information: the new leader of the 77th is an agent for Gen-Lec, "Axe" Mann.  His mission is to create chaos by using military grade power armor to take control of the South Central area and make it an independently governed area.... The government being the gangs.  Once this happens, the 77th will effectively be puppets for Gen-Lec, since Gen-Lec controls the hardware they need to enforce their rule.

Scene 4: Raid.
Checking in with base will inform the PC's that the police don't have anything that could stand up to the hardware the 77th has.  The PC's need to raid the base and destroy the power armor before the 77th can use it to carry out its plans.  The gang will begin their offensive in 2 days, starting with wiping out the south central police station and then establishing a perimeter to keep hostile forces out.
Scene Goal:  Wipe out the enemy power armor before they can establish their reign of terror.

Tag:  Regardless of how the PC's stop the 77th, Dr. Tomoe will be pleased but Janice will be less than happy if any of the Zeta vehicles have been more than superficially damaged.

Episode 2: Paradise

Episode summary: There is a new designer drug on the streets, known as Paradise.  Can the team eliminate the source of this new drug before it corrupts America's youth?

Teaser:  Kyle goes back to his old haunts in Hollywood for an afternoon, and runs into Honey, who doesn't look herself at all....

Scene 1: Addictive Cravings
Shuga has become addicted to Paradise, a new designer drug out on the streets.  Honey is scared of the changes Paradise has created in Shuga, and begs Kyle to find a way to help Shuga.
Scene goal: Convince Kyle to help Shuga, preferably by bringing her back to Zeta HQ for Detoxification.
Twists:  Withdrawal cravings are severe.  Paradise creates both a physical and psychological addiction to the drug.  On the drug an addict is docile and controllable.  When withdrawals set in the addict becomes violent and homicidal.  Continued use of the drug causes toxins to build up in the brain, eventually causing brain damage or even death.
