Dear Rodney.

The basic success of the Revees and Reno have born bitter fruit.  Instead of building a specialized command mecha for their senior officers, the Rebels have instead taken to installing command armor on newly promoted officers mecha.  Dubbed the RIMC-10 Rymes, the command armor improves the weapons payload of the mecha significantly, with little or no adverse affects to its manuverablity.  In addition, this allows the rebels to only produce one type of mecha, with consequent simplification of their production facilities and support train.  With our inability to find and eliminate the source of these mecha, I fear that the war has been lost.  I will, however, continue to fight on until you order me otherwise, but I fear it will result in only the loss of further FIST men, machines, and money.
