PC's Role: Foot solders thrown into the war, later becoming an elite troop assinged to special project.
Charecter Type: Custom: 50 points +4d10.  May re-roll if less total is than 60 points.
Requirements: No stat less than 4.  1 10 and 1 9 max.  All charecters must have 1 'term' of non military service(Does not affect Rookie status). All charecters must have a minimum of 3 non-mecha related skills.  "Professional" soldiers must have 2 terms of military service, Last term MUST be military or Mercenary.  All other professionals must have at least 1 tearm of military service.
Limits:   No Rookie may have any mecha skill greater than 3.  Professional soliders may not have a Mecha related skill of less than 3, except for a 0.

Space Environment: Wormholes have opened up fast travel between stars.  Due to technical limitations, space bombardment is not possible. Starships are not atmospheric capable; Most cargo is transfered in orbit to Lighters 10x scale ships whis ARE Transtat capable.  Most lighters are lightly armed and armored except for combat drop ships.
Government Type: Star spanning empire with a Despotic Aristocracy.  Colonies are considered subject states and are mostly sources for raw materials and markets for finished goods.
Culture: Hedonistic in the inward worlds, Rural out near the frontier.  (Imagine a high tech Paris ruled by Louis 14 Vs hardy settelers taming the wilderness)

Requirements:  Fusion or powercells only.  Virtual and Reflex cockpits for Imperial troops only.  Imperial troops do not mount Projectile weapons.  Colonial mechs do not mount beam weapons.  All Mecha mount some sort of melee weapon and shield.  FTL and Reactive shields only for 100x scale.  Sublight only for 10x and above.  All Mecha are limited to 1 form but may use some t-form options (such as weapon network or Transtat) Transtat not allowed above 10x scale.
MTS systems not allowed: All SMT's.  Teleportation. Reflectors. Techno-Org. E-Pools.
